Snowy & Sweet Farm Wedding

October 2019 was a cold, snowy day that just so happened to turn out to be the most beautiful wedding day for Abbie + Howard! These two got married at Legacy Hill Farm in Hasting, Minnesota. The chilly morning started with the bride and her bridesmaids getting ready in the cozy bridal suite with candles and cute matching outfits. We set up the reception area while hair, makeup, and photos began.

Abbie and Howard decided to do a first look so they met outside by the ceremony site. Even in the cold, Abbie was taking pictures outside! They turned out so cute and the first look is so sweet and reflective of their fun and loving personalities.

The wedding party did photos outside (what troopers!) and then some in by the cozy fireplace. At the Legacy Hill Farm they have a fence that each couple can put a lock on, similar to the Lock Bridge in Paris. I love this idea. What a special and memorable thing to do on your wedding day.

The ceremony was to take place outside on the beautiful grounds of Legacy Hill Farm. This is something that Abbie had been dreaming of! So, even with the snow, rain, and cold - we made it happen! We kept guests inside until just before we were set to start. We wiped down the pews and handed out blankets and handwarmers and it was the most gorgeous ceremony!

Cocktail hour and dinner were in the main barn. The guestbook kept guests busy as a do it yourself photobooth and the most amazing hot chocolate kept everyone warm. Mini cheesecake desserts were a hit with the guests too! The dance started and boy was this a fun group. Not only was the dance floor packed all night, some guests had blown up the bride and grooms pictures and brought those out to dance too!

The night concluded with a sparkler send off and it was the most beautiful way to end the evening. Despite the weather, this was absolutely one of the most gorgeous weddings. And Abbie and Howard were the best couple! So fun and laid back, wish we could work with these two forever! Definitely a day to remember!
