Logan and Kylie were married back in June, but getting the photo's back always brings you back to that amazing (and hot!) day.
Kylie and her mom and I had met for a coffee about a year before her actual wedding date to discuss what she was looking for. Logan and Kylie had chosen the day of coordinator package for their big day as they had already had almost everything booked and planned when we met due to a busy year ahead of them!
Their venue was the beautiful Almquist Farms, however, they had never seen it after it had been completed. That's how you know you have a laid back bride - she hadn't seen the venue and was out of the country when her husband did the tasting with the caterer! We went on a final walk through a little over a week before the wedding and the venue was stunning and the owners were incredible.
The big day had finally come! I picked up Kylie's hair piece from her florist and brought it to her hotel that morning, where we had found out her makeup artist had cancelled - the morning of her wedding! Thankfully we were able to get her in to the salon at the hotel! We brought their decor to the venue and started set up. Almquist Farms has the cutest space for the whole wedding party to get ready in and these guys sure did enjoy it!
It was also the perfect place for them to hide and not see the surprise ice sculpture the mother of the bride had ordered. She reached out to us before the wedding and asked if we could get a table and get it all set up without the bride and groom knowing. The ice sculpture was amazing and the bride and groom were so surprised! It was a very hot and humid day, so we were thankful for the air conditioning in the barn to keep the ice sculpture looking good all night!
There was rain in the forecast but Kylie and Logan were really wanting an outdoor ceremony, although we were able to move the ceremony inside in front of a gorgeous fireplace if we needed. The rain held off and they had a beautiful ceremony outside with the father of the groom as their officiant and beautiful music by their pianist. Seeing the grooms reaction to his bride walking down the aisle gave everyone all the feels!
The reception was in the barn and everyone had a blast. Logan and Kylie danced to Ed Sherran for their first dance, followed by Kylie dancing with her dad, and her stepdad and there wasn't a dry eye in the room. Then Logan and his mom danced to Mom by Backstreet Boys. The DJ, Timothy, kept the whole wedding party, parents, and the bride and groom out on the dance floor all evening!
It was such a beautiful day and they were such a sweet and amazing couple surrounded by so many friends and family who radiated their love and support of them as well!
